IT STARTED WITH TWO FRIENDS

Studying in Miami, Enrique and Tyler met in a college surf club, immediately hitting it off on an impromptu trip to Puerto Rico - an adventure that solidified a friendship built on shared values and vibes.

Back at university, they realized they had a common struggle: caffeine. Specifically, how they were getting it. Enrique was frustrated with the sh*tters from coffee, while Tyler was feeling the effects of synthetic energy, from insomnia to health issues. Both felt there had to be a better way to fuel their active lifestyles.

So, they began researching natural alternatives and landed on yerba mate—a drink rich in benefits and already popular in South America. It was everything they were looking for: focus without the downsides, energy without compromise.

THEN, AN INTERNATIONAL CALL

With their concept forming, Enrique reached out to his cousin Philip, who was finishing his studies in Germany. Having lived where yerba mate was already popular, Philip knew its potential. When Enrique shared his vision to bring a fresh, authentic yerba mate drink to the U.S., Philip was all in, offering a single enthusiastic response:

"I'M ALL IN, LET'S MAKE IT REAL"

And just like that, ULTIMATÉ was born—a drink powered by the vision of three friends determined to redefine what energy can be.
